银行存款中的生活费要求提高
11月12日起，申请tier 4学生签证所要求的生活费金额提高成为：
伦敦地区：£1265 / 月 （原先为 £1020 / 月）
伦敦之外地区：£1015 / 月（原先为 £820 / 月）
生活费资金覆盖时长要求变化
原本对于“在英就读 full-time 课程超过6个月且递交签证时原签证仍然有效”的同学，只要求其银行存款中包含两个月的生活费的 reduced maintenance 政策，现在被取消了。
自11月12日起，所有申请tier 4签证的学生均需要提供9个月生活费的资金证明，即（以下仅为最低所需生活费数额，若需要准备银行存款，请自行加上未交的学费金额）：
伦敦地区生活费：£11385
伦敦之外地区生活费：£9135
学生在英国境内续签要求变化
11月12日起，college的学生将不能在英国境内续签，不过，若是就读于大学附属的“embedded college”的学生则可以在英国境内续签。
例如 bellerbys 这样的教育集团就属于前者，而 hertfordshire international college 则是后者，它是 embedded in hertfordshire university 的。

embedded college offering pathway courses” means a sponsor recognised by the home office as a private provider, usually part of a network and operating within or near to the premises of a higher education institution, delivering pathway courses which prepare students for entry to higher education programmes at that a higher education institution.
degree level 以下课程限制变化
11月12日起，持有tier 4签证的学生，在英国就读 degree level 以下课程的最长期限将从3年缩减到2年。
——意思就是，学生只有累计最多两年的时间就读语言、预科、a level 或者 nfq level 1-5 diploma 课程（包括hnd等）。
